Introduction
The hike around the majestic Ausangate, the highest of the Vilcanota mountain range, is magnificent and demanding, being one of the most important Apus of the Inca period.
This hike is done above 4600 m.a.s.l. during all its route.
The Ausangate, snowy now visited by thousands of tourists, develops in a spectacular and diverse panorama, its geography, geology, erosions, thawing, snowy (Mariposa, Callangate, Colquecruz, Campa, etc), fauna and flora typical of altitude, as well as picturesque customs of the people of the Peruvian Andes, can be appreciated and enjoyed in the craft capital of Peru in textiles, typical dances of the Ausangate Valley.

Trek Ausangate 7 Lakes 1 Day
Starting at 5:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Pacchanta. During the journey, we will make a brief stop in Tinka before arriving in Pacchanta for a delicious breakfast after about 45 minutes.
Our next destination is the breathtaking Seven Lagoons of Ausangate, where we will spend about 5 hours exploring Azul Cocha, Otorongo Macho, Otorongo Hembra, Pucacocha, Patacocha, Alqacocha and Ccomercocha. This scenic route also offers views of towering peaks such as Ausangate (6,834m), Mariposa (5,842m), Pucapunta (5,740m), Caracol (5,625m), Jampa (5,500m), Tinki (5,300m), and the Qayangate mountain range.
Throughout the tour, you may spot diverse wildlife such as birds, alpacas, llamas, vizcachas, and even Andean condors if you’re lucky. After the circuit, we will head back to Pacchanta to relax in the soothing thermal baths. After the baths, a delicious buffet lunch will be served, and we will then return to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 pm, marking the end of our service.
