Introduction
Located in the remote highlands of southern Peru, the Q’ero community stands as one of the last living links to the ancient Andean world. As guardians of ancestral wisdom and sacred traditions, the Q’ero people have preserved their cultural heritage with unwavering respect and devotion through countless generations.
Renowned for their profound spiritual insight, healing practices, and deep cosmological knowledge, the Q’ero live in harmony with nature, guided by the sacred principles of Ayni (reciprocity), unconditional love, and reverence for all life. Their intimate relationship with the Earth (Pachamama) and the mountain spirits (Apus) shapes every aspect of their way of being.
We invite you to embark on a transformative journey through the Andes, led by Q’ero spiritual masters in authentic ancestral ceremonies, in gratitude to Mother Earth.
This immersive experience opens the door to the spiritual legacy of the Tawantinsuyo, the great Inka civilization, protected and honored by the last Q’ero ayllus.
As you walk these sacred paths, you will be embraced by breathtaking mountain landscapes and welcomed into the hearts and homes of Q’ero families, carriers of ancient magic, timeless wisdom, and genuine Andean hospitality.

In Paucartambo, you’ll have the opportunity to do some last-minute shopping and enjoy a traditional breakfast. The estimated travel time from Cusco to Paucartambo is around 2 hours and 30 minutes. After our break in Paucartambo, we will resume our trip toward the Q’ero Community (Chua Chua). This leg of the journey takes approximately 3 hours, passing through stunning mountain landscapes and pristine natural scenery. We are expected to arrive at the Q’ero community around 1:00 p.m., where we will be warmly welcomed by the local community in a peaceful environment, surrounded by majestic high mountains. This is where you will spend the night, immersed in the tranquility and natural beauty of Q’ero, while enjoying a unique cultural and spiritual experience offered by the community.
