Reservation and Cancellation Policies

At Andean Spirit, we believe that trust and transparency are essential for planning a worry-free journey. That’s why we clearly share our booking, payment, and cancellation policies, so every traveler can make informed decisions and fully enjoy their experience in Peru with complete peace of mind.

Reservations

  • We recommend making reservations at least 30 days in advance to ensure the availability of transportation, accommodations, and all services included in your itinerary.
  • Reservations will only be accepted in writing or directly through our official website.

Payments

  • Your reservation will be confirmed only after we receive a minimum deposit of 50% of the total amount per person.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise agreed with one of our travel consultants.
  • Reservations made after this period will be subject to availability and specific conditions informed by our team.
  • Online payments made through our website may be subject to additional bank fees, depending on the issuing or receiving bank.
  • All credit and debit card payments processed through our platform are completely secure.

Payment Methods

  • Bank Transfer: BBVA Bank and Banco de Crédito del Perú.
  • Western Union: Send in U.S. dollars by completing the “Send Money” form.
  • Online Payment (IziPay): Available through our official website using the reservation form.

Rates

  • All rates are expressed in U.S. dollars (USD).
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice, except for confirmed reservations with payment already received, in which case the agreed price will be honored.
  • All rates are per person.

Cancellations and Penalties

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur (such as weather conditions, flight delays, strikes, road blockages, landslides, or other causes beyond your control). However, many of the services we provide —such as train tickets, entrance fees to Machu Picchu, Inca Trail permits, hotels, among others— are non-refundable.

For this reason, our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 30 days or more prior to the start of the tour: 30% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 25 to 16 days prior to the start of the tour: 50% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 15 to 07 days prior to the start of the tour: 80% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 06 to 0 days prior to the start of the tour: 100% of the deposit is non-refundable.

No Show

  • In the event that the traveler does not show up at the start of the tour due to flight delays or cancellations, 100% of the total amount will be retained.
  • Andean Spirit is not responsible for loss or damage of luggage, accidents, unforeseen expenses, unavoidable delays, or services provided by third parties.
  • Upon request, we can issue a certificate to help the traveler file a potential reimbursement claim with their insurance company.

Important Note

If the traveler voluntarily leaves the tour for any reason, any additional expenses incurred will be the traveler’s responsibility, and no refund will be provided.
