Itinerary
Your adventure begins today in Lima, the vibrant capital of Peru. At the scheduled time of your arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our team will be waiting for you with a warm welcome and a personalized sign. Immediately afterward, you will be transferred in a comfortable, private service to your selected hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to settle in, rest, and enjoy a first contact with the city’s energy at your own pace.
Overnight in Lima
The day begins early, around 05:00 AM, departing from Lima in tourist transport toward the coastal resort of Paracas (approximately 4 hours’ drive). At 9:00 AM, we will arrive at “El Chaco” port to start the boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands. During the two-hour trip, we will first observe the enigmatic Candelabro, a massive 180-meter-long geoglyph visible only from the sea. We then continue to the islands to appreciate the significant marine fauna: large colonies of guano birds, Humboldt penguins, and playful sea lions; with a little luck, we may spot dolphins. At 11:00 AM, we will depart for Ica, arriving in the city around 12:30 PM to head to the stunning Huacachina Oasis, located just 5 km from the city center. Here, visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the lagoon, take photos, and partake in adventure sports like dune buggy rides and sandboarding. We will enjoy lunch at 1:30 PM. At 3:00 PM, we will begin an excursion to the El Catador or Nieto Winery, famous for producing Pisco. An expert will guide us through the artisanal process of making Peruvian Wine and Pisco, showcasing antique pieces like clay vessels and Huarango presses. Finally, visitors will be invited to taste the main products, including wines, piscos, pisco creams, and mistelas. We conclude the day by returning to Lima, with an estimated arrival time of 10:00 PM.
Overnight in Lima
The day begins with the timely transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima to take your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in the Archaeological Capital (3400 m.a.s.l.), our team will be waiting with a personalized sign to give you a warm welcome and transfer you to your hotel. You will have time to settle in and begin your acclimatization to the altitude.
At the scheduled time (usually in the afternoon), we will begin the City Tour. We will head directly to the upper part of Cusco to visit the Inca archaeological sites. Our tour starts at Tambomachay, the “Water Temple,” a site for rituals made up of water fountains. Next, we find Puka-Pukara, which served as a resting place and control point for accessing the city. We continue to Qenko, a fascinating huaca (sacred site) believed to have been the dwelling of the mummy of a great Inca leader. Finally, we will visit the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuamán, whose gigantic monolithic walls showcase the largest lithic pieces used during the Inca era.
Overnight in Cusco.
At the ceremonial center of Killarumiyoq, a sacred site where Inca ancestors performed their rituals, we will participate in a profound Gratitude Ceremony led by Q’ero Masters. This is an ancestral rite dedicated to giving thanks to Pachamama (Mother Earth), the Apus (Mountain Spirits), and to life itself for its experiences and lessons. We will take a moment to reconnect with our essence, synchronize with the energies of nature, and release heavy energetic burdens. It will be a complete immersion in the Andean cosmovision, where we will learn firsthand about Inca spirituality and the living wisdom of the Q’ero Nation.
Overnight in Cusco.
Depart from the city of Cusco; leaving early, and after 50 minutes we arrive at the warm “Sacred Valley of the Incas.” We head to the archaeological center of Pisac, of Inca origin, composed of temples, enclosures, terraces, and a cemetery. Then we go to the capital of the Sacred Valley, Urubamba, to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, where you can taste a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes. In the afternoon, we will visit the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo, where we will have access to incredible views and also appreciate the construction processes from the Inca era, terraces, temples, and more. At the end of our day, we will take the tourist train to Machu Picchu and spend the night at the designated hotel.
Overnight in Aguas Caliente.
On this exciting day, we will explore the modern wonder of Machu Picchu. We begin early with a transfer to the bus station, followed by a 25 minute ride up to the majestic Archaeological Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will see the agricultural terraces, Inca temples, and ceremonial plazas.
Your guided tour of approximately two hours will reveal the history and mysteries of Machu Picchu. As you admire the massive stone structures and the surrounding mountain range, you will experience the unique energy of this extraordinary Inca cultural center.
After the visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have optional free time to enjoy the hot springs or take a short walk through the town perfect for adding moments of relaxation to your journey in Cusco.
Overnight in Cusco.
our day begins early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. You will travel through picturesque Andean landscapes and charming villages such as Mollepata, where you will enjoy breakfast before continuing through wide valleys toward Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike.
The hike usually lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours and offers incredible views of the mountainous terrain. As you ascend, the majestic Salkantay Glacier appears as an impressive backdrop throughout the journey.
At the top, you will be rewarded with the spectacular view of Humantay Lake, famous for its vibrant turquoise waters created by mineral-rich glacier melt. Here you can explore the lakeshore, take photos, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and learn about the lake’s spiritual importance to local communities.
After spending some time at the lake, you will descend back to Soraypampa, where our transportation will be waiting. You will then continue to Mollepata for a delicious lunch. Finally, relax on the drive back to Cusco, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
Overnight in Cusco.
The excursion begins very early in the morning, heading south on a two-hour drive to the town of Cusipata. From there, we continue for one more hour along a dusty road until reaching the village of Phulawasipata. Here we begin our hike (the local community offers horses for rent).
As we ascend, we will start to enjoy beautiful landscapes accompanied by herds of llamas and alpacas. Soon, the highest mountain in Cusco, Ausangate (21,100 ft), will reveal its impressive glacier, transforming our hike into a magical experience. In the distance, we will observe the daily life of local families, their farmland, livestock corrals, and native wildlife such as chinchillas, Andean geese, and mountain caracaras.
After about two hours of hiking, we reach the main attraction: the Rainbow Mountain, located at 16,600 ft. You will have time to explore and take the best photos of this stunning natural wonder.
We then begin our descent along the same route, returning to the town of Cusipata for lunch, followed by our drive back to the city of Cusco.
