Itinerary
Upon your arrival in the Archaeological Capital of America (Cusco, Peru), our team will provide a cordial welcome and offer a private transfer to your hotel. You will have time to settle in and enjoy a light lunch before starting our city tour around 1:00 PM. We will begin our cultural immersion by visiting the heart of the city, with our first stop being the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), the Incas’ most sacred enclosure. Afterward, we will head to the upper area to explore the archaeological complexes: Sacsayhuamán (the monumental Inca fortress), Qenqo (a fascinating huaca with underground passages), Puka-Pukara (the red fortress), and Tambomachay (the water temple). The tour will conclude in Cusco’s historic Plaza de Armas at approximately 6:00 PM.
Overnight in Cusco.
The day begins around 7:30 AM with hotel pickup, heading to the Temple of the Moon (located near Sacsayhuamán), just 30 minutes from Cusco’s historic center. This sacred site is ideal for connecting with the energies of the universe.
Here, we will hold an ancestral Q’ero retreat and share a profound conversation on the spiritual path and the methods of connection used by indigenous communities. This will be a vital moment for reflection and meditation to clear any energetic burden, before setting clear intentions for the journey ahead.
After the ceremony, we will return directly to the Plaza de Armas, allowing you free time to explore the historic center and enjoy lunch at your leisure.
Overnight in Cusco.
Depart from the city of Cusco; leaving early, and after 50 minutes we arrive at the warm “Sacred Valley of the Incas.” We head to the archaeological center of Pisac, of Inca origin, composed of temples, enclosures, terraces, and a cemetery. Then we go to the capital of the Sacred Valley, Urubamba, to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, where you can taste a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes. In the afternoon, we will visit the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo, where we will have access to incredible views and also appreciate the construction processes from the Inca era, terraces, temples, and more. At the end of our day, we will take the tourist train to Machu Picchu and spend the night at the designated hotel.
Overnight in Aguas Caliente.
On this exciting day, we will explore the modern wonder of Machu Picchu. We begin early with a transfer to the bus station, followed by a 25 minute ride up to the majestic Archaeological Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will see the agricultural terraces, Inca temples, and ceremonial plazas.
Your guided tour of approximately two hours will reveal the history and mysteries of Machu Picchu. As you admire the massive stone structures and the surrounding mountain range, you will experience the unique energy of this extraordinary Inca cultural center.
After the visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have optional free time to enjoy the hot springs or take a short walk through the town perfect for adding moments of relaxation to your journey in Cusco.
Overnight in Cusco.
The adventure begins with pickup at your hotel at approximately 4:30 AM, heading towards the town of Mollepata, a drive of about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Cusco. After a nutritious breakfast in Mollepata, we continue our road trip for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), where you can appreciate the imposing snow-capped Salkantay mountain. From here, we begin the ascending trek of about 1 hour and 40 minutes towards the spectacular Turquoise Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 ft), exploring the slopes of the mountain; for those who wish, there is the option to rent a horse for the hike. After enjoying the magical surroundings and capturing unforgettable moments, we descend to return to Mollepata, where a comforting buffet lunch awaits us. Finally, in the afternoon, we take the bus back to Cusco, arriving in the city at approximately 6:00 PM.
Overnight in Cusco.
The excursion begins very early in the morning, heading south on a two-hour drive to the town of Cusipata. From there, we continue for one more hour along a dusty road until reaching the village of Phulawasipata. Here we begin our hike (the local community offers horses for rent).
As we ascend, we will start to enjoy beautiful landscapes accompanied by herds of llamas and alpacas. Soon, the highest mountain in Cusco, Ausangate (21,100 ft), will reveal its impressive glacier, transforming our hike into a magical experience. In the distance, we will observe the daily life of local families, their farmland, livestock corrals, and native wildlife such as chinchillas, Andean geese, and mountain caracaras.
After about two hours of hiking, we reach the main attraction: the Rainbow Mountain, located at 16,600 ft. You will have time to explore and take the best photos of this stunning natural wonder.
We then begin our descent along the same route, returning to the town of Cusipata for lunch, followed by our drive back to the city of Cusco.
