Introduction
Itinerary
At the airport, we will give you a warm welcome along with a small symbolic gesture using coca or muña leaves, as a sign of harmony and positive energy for your stay. Then we will transfer you to the hotel, where you can settle in comfortably and take a moment to acclimate to the altitude. Once settled, we will hold a brief briefing to share important recommendations about the weather, altitude, and the schedule for the following day, along with a short introduction to the spiritual energy of Cusco.
This first day is meant for rest, deep breathing, and allowing the spirit of the place to receive you. May this arrival mark the beginning of an experience full of clarity, connection, and renewal.
Overnight in Cusco
Cusco was designed by Inca Pachacútec in the shape of a puma, a symbol of strength, power, and the Kay Pacha, the earthly world within the Andean cosmovision. Today we will follow the path of this sacred animal to gain a deeper understanding of the origins, wisdom, and spiritual vision of the Tawantinsuyo civilization.
We begin with a visit to the statue of Pachacútec, the great leader who transformed the Inca Empire and gave Cusco its sacred and symbolic layout. Here we will learn about the rise of the Tawantinsuyo, its expansion, and the profound cosmology that guided its people.
We then continue to the Temple of the Sun – Qorikancha, symbolically located in the “belly of the puma.” This is one of the most important sacred sites in Cusco, where we can admire the extraordinary Inca architecture, its perfectly aligned stone walls, and its role as a ceremonial and astronomical center.
Next, we visit Cusco’s Main Square, considered the “heart of the puma,” from where the four major roads of the Qhapaq Ñan originated. Here we will understand its importance as the political, spiritual, and social center of the empire.
Finally, we head to the “head of the puma”: the impressive archaeological complex of Sacsayhuamán, a ceremonial center of great energetic power and the setting of the most important rituals of the Tawantinsuyo. We then explore Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water, a place dedicated to purification, harmony, and connection with the spirits of the water.
This journey allows us to walk through the sacred design of Cusco, feel the living energy of its ancient spaces, and receive the renewing strength of the puma, guardian of the earthly world.
Overnight in Cusco
We leave the city of Cusco early in the morning and head toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After approximately 40 minutes, we arrive at the archaeological site of Chinchero, a place that preserves the essence of Inca architecture blended with colonial influence, offering beautiful views of the valley and the sacred mountains. We then visit the traditional weaving houses in the town of Chinchero, where local families demonstrate the ancestral art of Andean textiles, the use of natural dyes, and the symbolism preserved in each woven piece.
We continue to the archaeological site of Moray, known as the agricultural laboratory of the Tawantinsuyo. Its unique circular terraces reveal how the Incas experimented with different microclimates to develop and adapt a wide variety of crops.
Afterwards, we head to Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, to enjoy a buffet lunch featuring local ingredients and traditional flavors.
In the afternoon, we continue to the Sanctuary of Puma Huanca, a ceremonial center strategically located in a place of great energy and spiritual significance. Here we will take part in our first traditional ceremony led by the Q’ero masters, guardians of the ancestral Andean wisdom. This will be a special moment to connect with the energy of the earth, give thanks, and open ourselves to the spiritual experience of the valley.
Overnight in Ollantaytambo
We wake up early to head to the train station and board our tourist train to the town of Machupicchu (Aguas Calientes). Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will have breakfast before taking the bus up to the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu. This 25-minute ride offers beautiful views of the lush landscapes and natural beauty of the region.
Once we arrive at the entrance of the sanctuary, we begin our guided tour of this Wonder of the Modern World, where the guide will share the history, architecture, and deep spiritual significance of the Inca citadel. During the visit, we will explore its most important sites and enjoy unforgettable views of the sacred mountain.
After the tour, we take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch and relax.
In the afternoon, we board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to drive us back to our hotel in Cusco, ending a day filled with history, energy, and admiration for the Inca legacy.
Overnight in Cusco.
It will be a special day, a gift to clear the mind and fully enjoy the moment. We will share a traditional Cusqueñan barbecue, creating a warm and family-like atmosphere in the heart of nature. We will spend the day as a family, walking along the ancestral path that surrounds the Temple of the Moon, as a practice of connection and harmonization before our journey to Ausangate the following day.
It will be a peaceful, heartfelt, and energizing day to prepare both body and spirit for the upcoming experience, as well as to make any final purchases needed for our healing journey to Ausangate.
Overnight in Cusco.
We leave the city of Cusco early in the morning and head toward Pacchanta, a small Andean village located at the foothills of the majestic Ausangate. From this point, we begin our hike toward Azul Cocha, a sacred lagoon surrounded by mountains and protective apus.
Upon arrival, we will hold an opening ceremony guided by the Q’ero masters, carriers of the ancestral Andean wisdom. This will be a moment to introduce ourselves to the apus, ask permission from Pachamama, and open our hearts to the spiritual experience ahead. We will then share a conversation about Andean cosmology and the Q’ero tradition, deepening our understanding of their teachings and worldview.
We will spend the night in this sacred place, embraced by nature and the powerful energy of Ausangate.
At the indicated time, we wake up and take a gentle walk around the nearby lagoons, enjoying the silence, the pure mountain air, and the majesty of the Andean landscape.
We will then prepare for the main ceremony of the retreat: the Chumpi Karpay, an ancestral rite of energetic transmission and deep spiritual connection. Through this practice, the Q’ero masters work with the energetic bands of the body to strengthen, protect, and harmonize our spiritual field.
After the ceremony, we will have time to rest and contemplate the powerful energy of the place before spending another night under the Andean sky.
We wake up to a warm breakfast surrounded by the sacred landscape. We then proceed with the personal ceremonies guided by the Q’ero masters—an intimate space to work on individual intentions, internal processes, and personal energy.
After lunch, we begin our hike back to Pacchanta, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco.
A perfect closing to a profound experience of healing, connection, and ancestral learning.

This will be a free day to rest, recover your energy, and enjoy the city at your own pace. You will have the opportunity to explore the streets of Cusco, visit its plazas, markets, and historic corners, and connect with the vibrant local life and the unique energy of the city.
The condor is a sacred animal in the Andean worldview, representing the upper world and pure energy. For this reason, we will depart early from the city of Cusco for a journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to the starting point of our walk.
The walk is gentle and takes about 30 minutes until we reach the Condor Flight Viewpoint, a privileged space where we will perform a gratitude and cleansing ceremony, connecting with the energy of the condor and taking photographs to capture the moment.
Afterwards, we will enjoy our box lunch, before taking transportation back to the city of Cusco, where we will spend our final night, reflecting on the experience and the deep connection with Andean energy.
Overnight in Cusco
